The hardware section has four sub-sections. It includes the necessary hardware components you will need to install a solar system including:
- Panels
- Mounting Hardware
- Inverters
- Monitoring System
To add panels or inverters follow these steps:
1. Open the hardware accordion.
2. Click the '+Panels' or '+Inverter' button.
3. Choose the Manufacturer and the model.
4. Add in the Cost Per Watt
TIP: You'll be programming a Cost Per Watt for your Installation Package which will include panels. inverters, a Monitoring System and Mounting Hardware in the Installation Package accordion. As such the only time you should be adding a Cost Per Watt in this section is if it is a premium piece of hardware that you would like to charge extra for.
5. Ensure 'serviceable' is toggled on and click 'save'.
